The flavor of Ice

Snowmageddon, day 2:

Today is going to be a solo day. My companion has carpooled to his job. We have to make money some how. To ease the chill that has settled in our dwelling, I have lit a candle; the scent of hot buttered rum mixes with that of freshly made coffee. It's too cold for my chihuahua nerves to venture on to the tundra. One of the few solaces I have remaining is to watch the X-files.
