Appletree Inn

We are losing so many Inns in England, especially in the countryside. Another North Yorkshire Inn closed this year. The Appletree in Marton near to Kirkbymoorside. I stopped to take photographs and this statement caught my eye, made all the more sad by the accumulation of leaves.
