A Cold Day

It has been freezing cold today, but sunny and calm after 2 days of strong winds.

The water seems to have stopped raising in the flooded parts of Denmark, so people are returning to their homes and have started the clean-up.

The boys and I went for a lovely long morning walk. I was wearing new boots and after a while they started chafing the back of my heels, so that last part of the walk was rather painful. Ouch!

When we came home, I cut up a tree that was knocked over by the storm and was lying across the drive making it very difficult to get to my car. I don’t have a power saw, so it was hard work, but it was nice to be outside in the beautiful weather. The boys enjoyed it too.

I have wrapped some Christmas presents and prepared dinner for tonight. Now I need to write an article for the Kennel Club Magazine. I have give the boys a yummy treat from the big bag of treats, that my dad sent them after the Nordic Championship. Later we will do a bit of indoor training on the new mats and otherwise I think we will just enjoy and quiet and restful Saturday afternoon with no schoolwork :-).

Happy weekend, Blippers.
