Power to the people

Today I had the chance to meet up with some fellow Canterbury blippers at Cassel's in Christchurch, and it was great to put some faces to the various aliases on our esteemed site.

Afterwards I had to whizz off to Mrs H's staff Christmas function, so by the time we were on the way home the best of the light was past us.

Heading towards Lincoln I decided to plump for this shot of pylons disappearing across the Canterbury plains under a moody Nor'West sky, enhanced with a bit of an ND filter.
