Lift Off!

A couple of weeks ago, I bought a slow cooker and I tried it out yesterday. I made a lentil stew. It was okay if a little on the stodgy side. I put out the remains for the birds today and here is a robin still able to take off after trying it.
Right now, I'm making brussel sprout soup, not in the slow cooker, and then I'm going to get winter tyres fitted.
A horrible dreich morning here.
Favourite film of the day: The Whicker Man is about a policeman's search for a missing girl on a remote Scottish Island.
I much prefer the original version. There are lots of strange "goings on" on the island and the ending is pretty amazing.
