Bad news

Whilst waiting for the bus this morning we were wondering what on earth had gone on. Houses sealed off, lots of armed police, an ambulance, ambulance responders and more police cars and police than I've ever seen.

As the day went on we learnt that a police officer had been shot. Thankfully she wasn't in a critical condition, or worse.

By the time I came home there were lots of broadcasting vans lined up.
