Way too polluted

The pollution in Shanghai today was the worst ever, reach over 500 on the PM2.5 air density scale. The healthy level of breathing set by China is 75... It was so polluted that you could see and smell the pollution in our school hallway! In this picture from our balcony, you can't even see the bridge on the left, nor many of the buildings.
