My favorite craft fair of the season

Tonight I went to the SEA craft fair in Portland. My friend Patty came too as is our tradition! I saw lots of things that wanted to come home with me however, I held back as I really don't need anything at this time except for the chocolate croissant that screamed at me from across the room. I did the humane thing and put it out of its misery
I am all about the giving!

The mermaid made of sea glass was so cute. You can find beautiful sea glass on the shores of Maine. This lady did some cool stuff with beach glass and driftwood.

I have boxes of glass and pottery packed away in my basement. Each one gathered on a walk on the beach. Sometimes in the rain, in the heat or even the snow. All smooth and worn by the ocean I love the way it feels in the hand.
Lots of white and green and brown, blue and purple are a bit harder to find. Red and orange are very scarce. Finding a piece of red or orange really makes your heart beat a bit faster and usually prompts the happy dance.
