frost bite alert

Even colder here this morning than it was yesterday (-5 F compared to -2 F).
Our walks with Laney are getting shorter, and not only for our sakes, but for hers.
Today she went digging in the snow until she hit dirt, and came up with a blue nose. That's when we realized it was time to get her inside again.
Another victim of this cold weather is the fresh cut Christmas tree we bought today. When we got it home and cut off the binding string, it was frozen solid in the bound up position!
But now it has thawed out and looks very nice :-)
