Advent Calendar

Ethan has somehow managed to get 3 advent calendars this year! One playmobil one with a toy behind each door and 2 chocolate ones. He wants to open them as soon as he wakes up, with the Playmobil one always being opened first.

Despite seeming fine this morning (snotty nose and cough aside), I had a call from nursery at lunchtime saying he wasn't himself. I picked him up to find him complaining of a sore head. Within an hour he was screaming in agony, clutching his head and writing around on the bed in real pain. Calpol clearly hadn't helped so I phoned the Drs in desperation. Could hardly hear what they were saying cos Ethan was screaming so much, but did hear them telling me to come straight in. A big check up but they couldn't find anything specifically wrong - slight high temperature which they think was probably higher but brought down by the Calpol so told just to take him home and keep dosing him up.

Back home and he fell asleep from 3.30pm - 5.30pm so I got some more work done. When he woke up, he seemed so much better! Weird!
