A Big Night

Last night was our Focus Aorangi annual awards dinner.

Shock horror!!!!  A Life Membership was awarded to myself and one of our past presidents.  Norma read out the citation, I was thinking "surely she's not taking about me"!!!  I was lost for words, tearful .... A slight recovery to say a few words, thanking Doug for being there behind the scenes, the club friends ....actually I can't really recall too much of what else I said.  The picture on the left is another exciting award, being presented by our 2013 President Robert,  Photographer Of The Year, blimey.

Further to the above, I collected numerous certificates for the end of year Salon, A Grade Trophy, Champion Projected Image trophy.....as our Patron said "Lorraine, it's been your year" .
And a lovely rose named Heart of Gold was presented along with the Life citation.

Big smiles.

Other blippers Mario, Katey, Chrissybelle and MrsPuff also did extremely well.
