Casting Around

The only telly I'll be seeing today. Occasional strumming as I catch up on work after a day that involved only intermittent opportunities for work.

Morning was panel. I was being assessed so of course the first hearing got blown off track and process wasn't followed. Too busy preparing for radge dad, and knocked off course by lawyer. Other two hearings were short and lovely success stories. Enjoyed the last one. Amazing the change that a family can choose to make.

Afternoon spent running around after children, giving away all the Christmas decorations and removing the last of her boxes from the hall. Girls here a day early as their mother away to her folks golden wedding; another reminder that I won't ever have another of those anniversaries. Sad about Mandela but my head has been turned and thoughts are elsewhere. Roll on Tuesday.

And evening is more work. Need to be able to pull out key issues for big boss for Thursday.
