Sunrise over the Gila Mountains

Up before the sun,
and running for the border.
The dentist can't wait!

An early appointment in Mexico had us up and gone before the sun peaked over the mountains this morning. Temperatures have dipped to 10 to 15 degrees below average here in Yuma as a huge storm has swept across most of the United States. We put on our jeans and jackets today. The sun is out as usual but the wind is chill. We actually put the furnace on last evening set for 68 degrees Fahrenheit. It came on several times before the alarm went off this morning.

My Christmas mail is on its way. I'm feeling very smug! If I ever finish my painting I can turn attention to quilting again.
