Lights out

A fairly straightforward day ended strangely as I drove home with a powercut right across the city, taking out street lights, traffic lights and Waitrose. No special Friday night tea tonight. There was still no power on by the time I got home so I had to round up a whole host of half-burnt candles and Ikea purchases. They were all lit just in time for the power to come back on. And it has stayed on - but so have the candles.
