It was going to be starlings...

I was taking photos of the starlings squabbling over the suet feeder, wings flicking, beaks open in complaint, attacking each other. But then this Steller's Jay settled on the suet feeder hanger and there was my blip, big, blue and beautiful, in front of two of the starlings, still jostling for position and gobbling whatever they could. Larger jay.

It is going to be another full day today. Shopping starting at Costco where there are always way too many cars and way too many people. Then Haggens for food and drugs. (We moved our pharmacy there when our favorite pharmacist took a job there.) Then we drive down to Anacortes to meet Dave and Nora for art walk and dinner. Steve is coming too. It will be a full day. And a good one. So I may not get in too much commenting. So have a great day and evening folks!
