Jackdaw
Since the Lincs Wildlife Trust asked people not to go to Donna Nook this weekend because the storm surge would disorient the seals, and they needed time to re-settle them, Basil and I went back to Calke Abbey and spent another period in the hide. This rather fine jackdaw flew down and settled on a log. The small birds didn't seem unduly perturbed and the jackdaw flew away within 15 seconds or so.
