A room with a view

" I think you may like this" said MrC as he peeped through the curtains of our hotel room.

We had arrived in Paris at about 6pm after a very good journey by train from Leeds to London, and then Eurostar to Paris.
A taxi across Paris.
So glad we weren't driving! He earned every penny (or rather euro) of the 17euros.
Not half as expensive as we thought it would be!
I knew our hotel was near the Eiffel Tower, but never expected such a wonderful view from our bedroom!
What a great start to our short break.

Nice evening meal at a local Bistro and early to bed ready for tomorrow!
