F is for ...

Family. Christmas is a time when families tend to gather together. The New Testament starts with the human family tree of Jesus Christ, Son of David, Son of Abraham. He was born into the line of Judah, into the family of Mary and Joseph (although Joseph was not his biological father).
Why? According to the Bible He came in order to give the right to all who believe in Him to become children of God. Believers in Jesus belong to the family of God.
John 1:11-13 -11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God-- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
