Cock a doodle do!

We have been much more fortunate than the people on the east coast who have suffered terrible storms and flooding so we won't complain about the greyness of the day. A short trip to take another picture of the ducks and found this chap instead! He was keeping a very careful eye on us as he pecked his way along the bank of the stream that runs through the village.
