Sunrise at High Tide

We had high tides last night.

Flooding in the town, some damage to properties on the beach.

Damage to visitor centre at nature reserve.

Layout of the beach totally changed.

Got up this morning to catch the sunrise.

This also coincided with another high tide.

The foreshore is flooded.

The dunes, sand and vegetation completely covered by the sea.

The area I normally walk the dogs now seems to be connected to the North Sea with a channel.

Not sure if this will now be a permanent feature of the nearby shoreline.
