Lake Tuggeranong

We are in Canberra for the Rocket Party. It is our grandson William's 5th birthday, and rockets are the theme he has chosen for the celebration in Tuggeranong Park tomorrow. There will be a cake in the shape of a rocket, Will's younger guests will receive gifts with a rocket connection, the games will have something to do with rockets . . . . He is so excited about it all.

William and his younger brother and baby sister live with their Mummy and Daddy - our son - in a suburb of Tuggeranong not far from where Mrs D and I ourselves once lived. Our home was on the lakeside in the far distance across the water from where I stood to take this photograph. Sometimes when we are back in town I like to look and remember. We were very happy there.
