Our famous storm
Severe low pressure apparently sucks up the sea a bit elevating its level in its field of influence, coupled with onshore wind and unusually high tide has formed the "surge" an area of elevated sea moving southwards funnelled between the UK and Europe.
This led me to Hunstanton again as yesterday, this image is a bit closer to the action than yesterday's. Parts of local towns were evacuated and vehicular access closed off by police, and flooding occurred.
The keen eyed amongst you will spot the change in position of the litter bin.
Gladly I was not in any danger of being washed away, and excellent thermal clothing kept hypothermia at bay!
