sorry, sorry...

I had to! It's too funny!

Went into Nyons market this morning after the "walk" with the dogs in the sunshine. Bought some fruit and veg, including my first kaki, or persimmon in English. It was the texture of a tomato, with a thicker skin (sort of the texture of an unripe plum's skin), and tasted a bit like mango, only not as perfumed. It was ok.

Back into Nyons in the afternoon for a meet-up of a group of francophiles and anglophiles led by Martine, a lovely, retired teacher from the lycée in Nyons. We sang Christmas carols, ate Christmassy food (including some of my homemade mince pies), and learned about Provençal Christmas traditions. A really enjoyable event!

Home for tea and more dog antics :(
