Decorating cakes!

Tonight at guides we have decorated the Christmas cakes that they made last week. I haven't seen them concentrate so much on an activity in ages. As they have been so clever with the designs they came up with. One has been turned into an igloo complete with a penguin and sleigh. She wouldn't let me photo it though :-(

Today has been lovely. I met a friend for coffee this morning and then had an appointment in Cheltenham. I only rang up this morning and they could see me today, which is a bit of a miracle! Amazing how quickly you can see a doctor when it's you paying for the privilege of it. Exciting though and the first of many appointments now! I've been lucky that it's December and so quite quiet at the moment.

Another quiet day tomorrow and then we are going to Coventry to see my nan and my dad this weekend.
