Incredible Sky

This morning Uliana came into my room. "Mama, look, look outside... look the sky!!" We had such an incredible blue, blue and white sky out there, almost an hour before sunrise....

In the afternoon the sky became grey, the light became grey, the city became grey.

In the evening - I heard Emma's words from the children's room: "Schnee, Schnee! Soon we'll have New Year!" (The English words were in Russian....)

Now we have about 0° and the snow is melting again and the kids dream of playing in the snow and building a snowman, too.

They couldn't fall asleep a long time today... they are waiting for St. Nikolaus.
