Demise of a Giant

This tree fell in the recent storm. When you see a tree up close, you realise how huge they are. It must be a regular 'city home' for animals and insects when upright.
It seems that removing it is taking some time, maybe due to the size. I hope the wood goes to someone who will make something with it.
