Dragon's Breath
The sky cleared a bit at the end of a windy and cold day.
Walking along the top of Froggatt Edge I started counting the number of trees down - mostly birch - but stopped when I passed several dozen. No comparison in terms of damage to other parts of the country but quite significant nonetheless.
It is ironic that the National Park has recently begun a programme of clearing and felling at both Froggatt and Curbar!
