Kurhaus Weihnachtsbaum (Kurhaus Xmas Tree)

If  you've been visiting here for over a year then you might remember that I blip this tree at some point in December.  Although you might also remember that it isn't a tree.  It's built up from around 2000 poinsettias and it sits in the Atrium of the Kurhaus in Wiesbaden.  The building and the tree are both very, very elegant.

Out for dinner with friends last night and also the first time we've had the pleasure of eating out with their 11 month old daughter Bela.  Bela is lovely.  Prone to very loud statements about things  I can only guess at, happy to interrupt either her mum or her dad when they were eating, or doing that thing where anything she can get her hands on, will be picked up and dropped.  It must be exhausting being a parent.

We have cats and they are exhausting enough.  Our cats are awake for 6 hours and sleep for 18.  Children seem to be the opposite.

I'm very out of sorts today.  I think "run down" sums it up.  After all the stress and effort of getting here, after 2 days of not doing anything (except worrying about a bunny) my body has decided to switch off. I may join the cats for an 18 hour sleep.
