Pure Contentment

What more could one dog ask for than a cosy blanket, a warm owner to snuggle up to, a feline friend, and some stripey feet upon which to rest one's weary head?

He did get a little nervous just after this shot though, he doesn't like to be looked at, talked about, or ignored too much. It's a delicate balance, and big cameras do not help...

It was a toss-up between better angle, background and expression, or sharper focus... The perfectionist lost out this time round.
