Glasgow loves to shop

Bit the bullet and take the train to Glasgow to start Christmas shopping.

Now I know I am not in touch with popular culture i.e. shopping still it came as an almighty shock to discover the price of potential presents.

Lets draw a veil over my shopping. I came home almost empty-handed and will do it online. So much easier…one click.

While waiting for my train home I sit next to a very elderly woman until her husband appears. I offer to move so he can sit down.
“No, we are just leaving,” says the woman” don’t tell him I told you but he is on his way back into a care home.”
Oh dear...
