Constructive total loss

As I told you yesterday, I had a small accident with my bike on my way to take a blip at Fürstenried West underground station. So today after work I took it to the shop to get an estimate of costs to repair it. Of course the money would not come from me, but from the other guys insurance. At the shop I was told it will take the bike mechanic some time to make a thorough examination of the damage. When my mobile rang 30 minutes later, though, I already had a bad feeling - and that bad feeling was about to be confirmed: not only the fork was bent, but the frame was deformed as well. That basically means my bike is a total write-off. But at least it's still kind of rideable...

The blip shows the BMW World, the newest addition to BMW's temple complex for automobile aficionados. It is right across the street from the BMW headquarters and BMW museum. I had to wait quite some time at that crossing to get the right car in front of my lens to accompany the building.

This blip was the second mission of my brand new mini-tripod. Although it was really dirt cheap and smells like a Chinese chemical plant, I wonder how I ever was able to do without it.
