It's beginning to feel a bit like Christmas!

Ok... I admit it. It was a pressie to myself!

I'd noticed that the old version of this pistol head was beginning to slip in portrait mode. I've used it almost every day since it arrived in the post, I couldn't have recommended a better tripod head and the thought that it might pack up was unthinkable.

When I bought the pistol head, I put a bid on a famous auction site on finding an insertion with major spelling errors, makinge it invisible to the less than determined. I think it cost me, new in a sealed box, less than a third of the next cheapest.

I repeated the misspelling trick... left a stupidly low bid on the new upgrade, sealed in it's box, as I really couldn't afford a full price new one at the moment, and won! :))))))))

My new toy is brill... tried and tested now. Now it connects to my camera, no need to take my hand off the trigger to take a pic, even in bulb mode. Positions with one hand, instantly and precisely and is, if possible, even easier to manoeuvre than it's predecessor. Perfect for capturing shoots of pesky running insects or any shot that needs constant tripod tweeking!
