Brrrrrr....

We are beginning a cold snap forecasted to be the lowest temperatures in three years! It's clear and gorgeous, but the East wind is predicted to start blowing and that always lowers the temperatures. Elizabeth and I spent the morning baking Christmas cookies and fudge. For the first time I turned the TV on to see if Jake would like Sesame Street, but he was more interested in what we were doing in the kitchen! Thank goodness as I don't like sitting a child in front of TV! Today I'm grateful for a freezer full of Christmas treats!!
