Trentham Gardens

It was a day of spectacular light.
It was clear and sparkly and the perfect time for a gentle walk round the lake at Trentham Gardens.

I met up with one of my greatest friends - we worked in adjacent rooms in our first jobs and we have stayed in touch all that time.

Add to that several coffee breaks, a browse in the shops - and an excellent lunch (my first turkey of the season) and it makes for a pretty wonderful day out.

There were lots of herons on the lake, and they have added even more fairies.

But pointing the camera at the sun just behind the statue in the Italian Garden meant I had a blip for the day, straight from the camera.
