Snow School
I have Bliped the Waldkindergarten in the Bannwald in Ottobeutren quite a few times but normally when I get there, the children are packing up to go home. Today managed to catch them at "work". There were three groups, this shows one with their teacher tethered with a rope to a tree! I had been at the entrance when the children had been collecting bits & pieces from the hut - they saw the dogs on the lead & obviously thought it was a good idea! There is a small wood fire in the tripod to the left of the single pupil. The rest are hidden - it's a bit difficult knowing how much to show of other people, especially children. I had been given permission but said it would be neutral.
The Blip is for Blonde Twinkle - hope she is feeling better! If she worked here she would be much hardier! I mentioned why I wanted to photograph and the teachers were very keen BT came to visit asap, thinking she was a relative who visited us from time to time!
Weather forecasters here getting more & more excited about the storm due to hit northern Germany tomorrow and for sure Emmy in Denmark. They are beginning to compare it to a 1962 storm which also caused a lot of flooding in Hamburg area. Looks from what I have seen that Scotland will also have a breezy night. Apart from more snow and strong winds, we should see/feel little.
Good luck all further north.
Now I need to do some Blip catching up as I didn't do anything other than post my photo yesterday.
