Sunrise

Noticed that the sun was trying to break through so gathered dog and camera and we headed out. Although it was fairly mild and there was a slight drizzle it was falling on ice making the pavements a tad slippy.

We climbed up above the village hoping for some mist. I wasn't disappointed with the colour although there wasn't as much mist as I had anticipated. Eventually whittled it down to two photos and then to this one. The light was causing me some difficulty with settings so just tried various combinations resulting in LOTS of photos. (Also spotted a red squirrel and two deer).

Christmas day soup made and cooling before freezing.

Just about to tackle the pantry for it's annual clear and clean.
