Whirligig

The Edinburgh Christmas Market (aka best date night outing in Edinburgh in December) has a new ride this year. It takes you up, spins you around (if you're me, you are quite certain the swings will fly off and you will plummet to your death at a tragically young age...) and then brings you back down again.

Follow it up with mulled wine, sausages (or pulled pork or beef, or any other the other meaty Scottish delicacies), and a chocolate crepe or hot chocolate from the CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN (yup... it's awesome), and that's what I call making the most of a dark and dreary Edinburgh winter evening!
