Scrumpy

Continuing the home produce and world's worst camera theme, we've had zillions of apples this year and I'm having a go at making scrumpy. I knocked up this apple press last year using some bits of oak, a Cadbury's Roses tin and a couple of cable ties! It just about does the job once the apples have been mashed in a bucket although if the screw thread was a bit beefier I could squeeze a bit more juice out.

Paddy has just helped himself to an apple from the bucket in the hope that I will throw it for him.

We may have a few gallons of cider vinegar soon!
