Homeward Bound

Lovely day today with lunch at Lady Findhorn and His Lordship's, where we enjoyed Lady F's delicious signature dish, as well as their excellent company and banter. Thank you both again for such a lovely visit!

We then had a few hours to do some chores and regain some appetite before meeting our long term Edinburgh friend, Dot, at Bia Bistro at Holy Corner for dinner. It was especially nice to spend some time with her, as this was our first meet up since she lost her mum three months ago.

We walked home through the wet Edinburgh streets to help us feel just a tiny bit less guilty at our calorie filled day. I'm going to whisper the next bit, 'this was the first rain we've had since we arrived about 10 days ago.'
