A lovely (if slightly hectic) meal out for my birthday at the new bistrot in the village- great food, ate way too much. Nell enjoyed it enormously, mostly to do with the fact that her menu was 4 pieces fish, 2 pieces carrot, chocolate ice cream (super apparently), the chocolate off the side of my coffee, chocolate brownie and a meringue. Then she had the cheek to ask for lolly from the jar on the counter, which she got!
A very relaxed day with lovely presents, good food and a bit of baking and sheep fencing to pass the afternoon; thank you my gorgeous family.
