One happy boy/rabbit....

What a great day! We all dutifully turned up in our Victorian costumes and had a wonderful time at the Kent Life museum.

We played parlour games, visited the toymaker and played with hoops and hopscotch, made 'lace' cards, met with Charles Dickens, heard of the horrors of the workhouse, took a tour of the two up, two down farmhouse, learnt about a traditional Victorian Christmas and of course visited THE SHOP.

My little friend muchly treasured his rabbit mask..'because the Victorians had rabbits didn't they'... and wore it all the way home in the coach.

I haven't seen 'the project' today. It was too dark when I got home. A blessing I think....
