I couldn't help but be surprised that Colin McRae has a new game out "Colin McRae's Dirt 2", well his name has It looks just amazing on demo.

It's really "Travis Pastrana's Dirt 2" but I suspect that the McRaes have some sort of control over the title and Pastrana and McRae had become pretty good buddies through their X games exploits.

Some of the game is actually based on the X Games rally cross where Mcrae so infamously rolled 360 degrees on the last bend and carried on accross the finish line much to the American crowd and media's amazement.

I wonder if it is to sort out some sort of legal issues between McRaes and the family of the other child who died in the helicopter crash.

The fact that McRae's license to fly had expired was very much swept under the carpet by the media in Scotland and not widely reported.

Tragic loss for all concerned.
