Old Mans Beard

Up early this morning to get to Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge for the allergy clinic.Hardly any reaction to the injections now and only two more to go.
Very flat grey day so decided to bring some of this Old Mans Beard home to photograph.
The botanical name for this hardy and vigorous climber is Clematis vitalba .It may reach up to 40 feet and bears small white flowers. The fluffy seed heads are aptly described by the name .
