Heublumenkase

Someone had bought this cheese from the Continental Market in Princes Street for our lunch today based upon German food. The purely organic cheese is coated with a selection of some of the colourful meadow flowers and herbs which grow profusely in the Alpine meadows. It tasted delicious so I will go and buy some myself as a reminder of this place where we sampled their herbal tea during a delightful summer walk through the meadows and woods from Sulzburg, a little village in Austria, to Oberstaufen in Germany two years ago.
