A village Christmas

Quick blip tonight just outside our front door. Some members of the Community Council put up the lights last Saturday. We passed them on our way down to a Christmas Sale in the local hall. They were perched high on a cherry picker, one to hold the light, one to bolt it on and one to connect it up. Meanwhile the Chairwoman, a young schoolteacher, was directing the traffic. It all seemed very jolly, with lots of banter!
