Lovers of Lytro... 2

This Lytro is a fine bit of kit, it reminds me of a gun from a 70's sci fi series like Space 1999. We'll get onto the design on another day.
After reading up about how it works and having a look at the controls I set out at lunchtime to see if I could get some decent pictures.

I took several shots and whilst some of the general street ones were ok they were no better than something from a camera phone. I got some very funny looks from people. Anyway it seems the only way to make it do it's thing is to have something very close to the camera so that you can then play with the focus.

The software is pretty straightforward but the only way to save it for general usage is as a low res jpg.
