This made me sad today

I came across this oak tree today, so sad, this tree is on a road I use quite regularly and has always been a marker post to how long it will take me to get home, back to work etc. It sat right on the edge of the carriageway and I think it had been hit several times people who misjudged the corner but the storm of a few weeks ago finally uprooted it :(
