Something I treasure

Day 3 of December's DDW challenge.

"Something you treasure"

This is my Grandfathers watch from the 70s. There is no wrist strap for whatever reason but I recall what it looked like vividly. I am not sure how I ended up with it. It doesn't readily like working but if you shake it about, tap it and think thoughts of Uri Geller taking himself very seriously it starts doing it's stuff.

The sound is exquisite, this very gentle, fine tick that sounds a little too fast to represent individual seconds. I dug it out for this blip and was amazed to see the date happens to be reading the 3rd...serendipity :-)
