December Maxie
The old gentleman is thinner this season and doesn't protest as much when asked to pose with a stocking cap. He's going in to the vets tomorrow morning for a routine blood glucose test for his diabetes. I always worry that they will hear something with his heart or see a tooth that is iffy(we would not put him through tooth extractions at almost 18) so of course I am worried. He has lots of spontaneous old man cat howling and drinks much more water, but still has a lovely suit. He's had a great ride and of course we want him never to suffer if at all possible. We did too much for our beloved Iris and she slipped away anyway. She, Madame Raspberry is kept from inflicting terrible torture on him with her antics... if she ever did get her claws on/into him it would not be good.
Sadly, our handmade silk shirts were not exactly the correct fit when they arrived, and were sent back. So, we have a bit of stress around just wearing pants at the ceremony:0!!!! After last weekend with the terror over our lost hiking nephew, lots of things don't seem so huge. We'll manage.
There will be reunions with very old friends at the wedding and I can hardly wait, one very special person I have not seen since 1971 xxCheri, I think you might spy this:)
For the Record,
This day came in dark and damp, but the sun has broken through and it's warm and nice now.
All hands are health...but a bit stressed.
