Score stands at 2-1 in my favour.

The one at Trier beat me hands down last year. Had to go to a service desk to buy the ticket.

This one at Gaimersheim tried hard today (I won easily 2 weeks ago). It doesn't take €50 notes (I discovered when I got there) and I'd just been given one at the ATM.

I had a €10 as well, but the fare is €22.

I'd been warned that it doesn't take credit cards (only debit ones) - hence my trip to the ATM before the station. It took mine, however.

Maybe it saw the look in my eyes.

It's a small station, so it doesn't have a ticket sales desk.

So, all teed up for the 9:16 to Munich tomorrow.
